Meet Michael Taylor-Brown

Hi, I’m Michael Taylor-Brown, director of Taylor-Brown Financial. I have over 10-years industry experience in financial services, specifically as a mortgage & protection adviser.

Building relationships with clients is important to me, which is why I made the decision to set up Taylor-Brown Financial to fulfil my ambition of providing a customer-focussed mortgage broker service but without the stuffiness (& confusing jargon).

Creating bespoke solutions for my client’s based on their circumstances is something I am passionate about, whilst providing a genuine, attentive service to take the hassle out of securing a mortgage.

I’m an ‘always-on’ kind of person, but when I’m not working, I like nothing more than country walks with the dogs, cooking up a Sunday roast, or playing a round of golf.

My ultimate goal is to become a trusted, go-to mortgage adviser for my clients and guide them through their property buying journey.

We were looking to roll two mortgages into one, we needed advice on how best to line up both or whether to take an early repayment hit to move to a combined product. Our current lender remortgage was not flexible or competitive.Michael was excellent at explaining and calculating our options for us without bias. He found us a mortgage product much more competitive than we had found online or with our current lender and helped us through the suitability and offer process. Michael is confident and clearly knew his market and products, going away to research the latest deals for our circumstance.Apologies for the delay in the review but we managed to secure a very competitive 10 year fix a number of months ago which just keeps getting better when compared to the current spiralling ratesThe best re/mortgage experience we’ve had. We owe him one, or two!

Michael helped us previously in 2020/2021 when we bought our first house.I then got back in touch in 2022, in regards to re-mortgaging.He goes above and beyond for his clients.
